Law Enforcement Driving Instructor

This class is now full. If you would like to be waitlisted for this class, please send an email to coordinator@greatermetroregion.com

This course is designed to instruct the participant in teaching driving skills to new students, lesson planning, testing, documentation, remediation and improving their own skills as instructors. 100% attendance is required.

All instructor level students attending a P.O.S.T. approved law enforcement driving instructor program are required to pass a pretest. The pretest is administered on the first day of the program and consists of the four blocks of testing as described in the Colorado P.O.S.T. Law Enforcement Driving Skills Test. All four blocks of testing must be passed according to the evaluation standards that define “pass” for each block of testing.

Attending officers are required to provide their own departmental vehicle and gas.
