
Simunition® Scenario Instructor and Safety Certification Course
The Simunition® Scenario Instructor and Safety Certification Course is designed to provide critical training to instructors who will conduct reality-based training within their department. The course will provide hands-on instruction in scenario-based training program development and training methodology and will give practical experience to students on the best use of Simunition® training products in a highly effective, realistic, extremely safe training course.
Simunition® will provide converted training firearms, FX® personal protective equipment, all FX® and SecuriBlank® training ammunition, as well as training aids such as inert training props. If you choose to bring your own converted weapon(s) and/or personal protective equipment, please see the outline below and your instructor before the course starts.

Students should bring the following equipment:
• Duty-belt
• Duty holster
• Tactical Vests (if applicable)
• Flashlights and weapon lights
• Shooting glasses
• Weather related clothing
• Clothes suitable for role playing civilians and criminals.
STUDENTS SHALL NOT BRING THE FOLLOWING TO CLASS:
• FIREARMS
• AMMUNITION
• OC SPRAY; TASERS
• BATONS AND IMPACT WEAPONS
• KNIVES AND OTHER LETHAL WEAPONS
Students must notify the sponsoring training region/provider at least 14 days prior to the training if they are not able to attend the training. If sufficient notification is not provided, your agency may be restricted from receiving future regional POST grant funding (class, scholarship, training equipment) for a period of up to six (6) months. Any penalties issued will be at the sole discretion of the training region boards.
